Camps
We offer camps the ability to provide their campers 24/7 access to our licensed Board Certified Pediatrician and licensed Certified Physician Assistant through partnership with My ePhysicians for telemedicine services. This enhanced level of service helps ensure that campers get the best possible care in a timely manner in the most appropriate setting.
How Does It Work?
In the event that a camper requires medical attention, the on-location staff performs an assessment. If it is determined that a provider should be consulted, they will initiate a real-time video visit with My ePhysicians. If medications are required, a prescription will be sent to the local pharmacy and billed through the camper’s insurance.
While many conditions can be diagnosed and treated through a virtual visit (especially with staff present to assist in the evaluation of the camper) occasionally the provider will recommend evaluation at urgent care or emergency room.
Video visits for camp staff are also available.
Our HIPAA & COPPA Compliant software keeps all camper information safe.
Common Camper Conditions that can be Treated by Telemedicine:
earaches, strep throat, rashes, bites and stings, allergies, infections, impetigo, sinus infections, asthma, croup, minor injuries, concussion
